ACPC started the implementation of the project “Women and youth as key actors in preventing radicalism”
Albanian Center for Public Communication (ACPC) launched the project “Women and youth as key actors in preventing radicalism”, which will take place in Paskuqan area in Tirana.
On the first day two meetings with two focus groups were held. This groups will be part of the project until its end. The opinions of the participants gathered from these first meetings will be used as qualitative data for assessing the situation in the area. In the first meetings, the participants also completed a detailed questionnaire on their perception of the situation.
The project implementation team presented to the participants the purpose and objectives of the project.
The project will last for nine months and envisage a series of seminars with two focus groups in this area, young people, and women.
The project is part of the project ” Strengthening Civil Society to Build Youth Resilience to Violent Extremism”, which is organized by Terre des Hommes Albania, in partnership with BedërUniversity College, ISD, and Center for Common Ground. The project is founded by European Union funds.
